In honor of Mother's Day, Lakewood invites you to visit the cemetery and receive a pink carnation. Pink carnations are the official flower of Mother's Day and a symbol of the purity, strength and endurance of a mother's love.

In honor of Mother’s Day, Lakewood invites you to visit the cemetery and receive a pink carnation. Pink carnations are the official flower of Mother’s Day and a symbol of the purity, strength and endurance of a mother’s love.
You can pick up your free flower at the tent located between the main gates and the Lakewood Memorial Chapel from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (while supplies last) on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13.
Also on this special day, the Lakewood Memorial Chapel will be open for viewing with self-guided tour brochures available inside.
Please note that the main office is closed on Sundays. If you need help locating a grave, there are two options:
- Use the self-service kiosk, located on the east side of the Administration Building (the main building with the columns when you first enter the cemetery)
- Download Lakewood’s mobile app, which has a built-in GPS locator
