The area of Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota is located along the Mississippi River and is known for its outdoor activities. Minneapolis' theater district has much to see and do, with stages such as the Children's Theatre Company and the Guthrie Theater, and Dance Theatre's such as the Minnesota Dance Theatre. Minneapolis, Minnesota also has many art centers and museums, like the Walker Art Center and the Bakken Museum. The Minnesota Orchestra also calls Downtown Minneapolis its home.
