Minneapolis Red, White & Boom 2013 will take place on Thursday, July 4 at the Father Hennepin Bandshell located at the NW end of the Stone Arch Bridge.

Minneapolis residents and visitors of all ages are encouraged to come out to this free 4th of July celebration featuring live music, family-friendly attractions, and a dazzling fireworks show to end the night.

Live music schedule:

6pm-7:30pm: USONIA
Indie Dance Rock - Pure Refreshment

8pm-10pm: Herman Jones & Friends
70s and 80s music with funk, R&B, and blues influence

There will also be a free Family Fun Zone on hand which will feature face painters, caricature artists, game trucks, hair braiding and more.

Fireworks will shoot off at 10 p.m. from Water Power Park, with great views from the bandshell area.
