First built as an Art Deco style movie theater in 1931, The Parkway Theater in South Minneapolis, MN on Chicago Avenue, has been reimagined as a local cultural hub offering movies, live music, comedy and more. The newly remodeled movie and performing arts theater highlights the venue's unique design origins in a modernized space, complete with an updated stage and revitalized lobby. Also newly added is a 1980s style arcade.
