The turn-of-the-century redbrick building near the corner of Marshall and NE 23rd is home to a unique dining establishment where it's possible to get a little bit of everything in one sitting. Indeed, The Sample Room's tapas-inspired offerings of cheese plates, pan-fried walleye strips, and sautéed green beans with ginger tamari sauce work perfectly fine as sharables. There are a handful of main courses as well, and on Sundays the brunch menu features "sample plates" of hand-cut bacon, crêpes, and currant scones.
