I grew up in Ottumwa, IA and attended the University of Northern Iowa. Graduating with a B.A. in Political Science, I went on to study at the University of Nebraska College of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1998. After moving to Minneapolis, I passed the Minnesota State Bar and began practicing law. I have been married to my wife Gayle for 19 years. Gayle is an Assistant County Attorney for Stearns County. In our free time.
