Floppy Crappie Lakeside Pub
Friendliest people! Best time ever. I stopped here on my way West and I am so glad I did!
Chews A Puppy
I just got a nice puppy here. Price was great compared to the other places in the area and the puppy had shots and is guaranteed. The employees were helpful and my mom loved her surprise birthday gift. This is a great place to get a puppy.
Chews A Puppy
I loved "chewzing" my puppy from this great place! Clean, well stocked with anything for dogs, and lots of adorable puppies! The vet that checks the puppies here is my vet so I felt so relieved and comfortable knowing that the puppy I bought is healthy!
Zake Japanese Restaurant
Pros: Talk about bang for your buck. All you can eat sushi and appetizers for $30?? That's amazing. It's not the best sushi in town, but it does hit the spot. Go when you're up for gluttony.
Cons: The restaurant doesn't seem very authentic, and the sushi isn't the best in town.
True Thai Restaurant
Pros: I love this place. Try the drunken noodles, shrimp green curry, or holy basil stir fry. It really is the best Thai food in town, for prices anybody would be happy with.
Ping's Szechuan Bar & Grill
Pros: They have delicious vegetable potstickers and shrimp fried rice.
Cons: On a few occasions I had a delivery driver who actually complained out-loud about only getting a $3 tip. The restaurant was only 4 blocks from our apartment complex...is $3 really that bad when you're only ordering $15 worth of food??
Origami
Pros: Yummy, fresh sushi. Pretty restaurant. Friendly staff.
Cons: The sushi rolls tend to be a bit bigger than I like. It should fit perfectly in your mouth, but these tend to be a bit more than bite-sized. That said, it's still good.
Midoris Floating World Cafe
Pros: I love Midoris. They have some of the best sushi in Minneapolis for prices that won't break the bank. I highly-suggest this place to other sushi lovers.
Cons: They are closed on Tuesdays...and the location isn't the best.
KinhDo Restaurant
Pros: This place always comes highly recommended...
Cons: I've been here twice and both times they did not give me the food I actually ordered. And both times I felt that the food was bland and the wait-staff rude and unwilling to fix their mistakes. I would not recommend this place to anybody who actually likes sweet, sour, spicy, tangy asian food. If you like salty and bland, this is the place to go.
Joe's Garage
Pros: Pretty cool location over-looking Loring Park. Great place to eat when the weather is nice. Good for burger-lovers.
Ichiban
Pros: Good for tourists.
Cons: Completely over priced and the food is nothing special. It's also packed with tourists from near-by hotels. You can get better and cheaper hibachi at at least a dozen other restaurants. Dinner for 2 was over $80 without drinks or appetizers. Yikes!
Fuji Ya
Pros: Some of the best sushi I've had in the Twin Cities.
Cons: The menu is a bit overpriced.
Buca di Beppo
Cons: This place is so loud, cramped, and crowded. I am also not a fan of their overly cheesy Italian food.
